Seligdar implements Positive Technologies cybersecurity solutions

28.07.2026

Seligdar PJSC (MOEX: SELG; hereinafter referred to as the "Holding" or "Seligdar") has implemented Positive Technologies products—MaxPatrol VM and PT Sandbox. Using these systems, the organization has built a vulnerability management process, identifies trending security flaws, and protects corporate email from malware and complex threats. The project, which became part of the holding's cybersecurity strategy, has improved the speed of threat response and strengthened control over the security of the production environment.

The holding had previously used Positive Technologies products. Therefore, when it needed to develop vulnerability management processes and strengthen email security, the company turned to MaxPatrol VM and PT Sandbox. These solutions meet the requirements of the Federal Service for Technical and Export Control (FSTEC) of Russia for the protection of critical information infrastructure.

Timur Shcherbinko, Head of Information Technology at Seligdar PJSC:

«For companies in the mining industry, cybersecurity is becoming a critical factor in business sustainability." Production sites are located in remote areas with challenging climate conditions and unstable communications, and disruption of IT systems and industrial control systems can lead to significant financial losses and risks to the continuity of production processes. The most dangerous threats facing the industry today remain phishing attacks, malicious email attachments, exploitation of software vulnerabilities, and supply chain attacks. Therefore, we selected solutions that can help us build protection against them. MaxPatrol VM helps us develop vulnerability management processes and increase infrastructure visibility, while PT Sandbox has strengthened our protection against malware and phishing, ensuring the prompt detection and blocking of dangerous files and emails».

MaxPatrol VM allows Seligdar to monitor the security of its infrastructure, which comprises approximately 2,000 assets, including IT and production systems. The implementation of the vulnerability management system has accelerated scanning processes and increased infrastructure visibility. The holding's information security specialists use information about trending vulnerabilities to prioritize system updates and threat remediation. This is especially important for companies in the mining industry, where even a short-term disruption to production processes can lead to significant financial losses.

PT Sandbox complemented the holding's existing security system and enhanced its ability to detect malware and phishing attacks in emails. The solution operates in both monitoring and MTA modes, providing file and attachment analysis. It is also connected to file storage systems to scan files before uploading them to corporate network resources.

Dmitry Zhebelyanov, Lead Key Account Manager, Positive Technologies:

«Industrial enterprises are the most frequent victims of cyberattacks. According to our research last year, 15% of all attacks on organizations occurred in this industry. This sector of the economy experienced a surge in interest from attackers last year: the share of successful attacks increased by 6% compared to 2024. Therefore, it is important for companies to build information security. Our solutions are based on the extensive experience of Positive Technologies specialists and modern technologies. They can be flexibly adapted and scaled to suit a company's specific needs and potential risks to prevent unacceptable events.».
