Seligdar PJSC (MOEX: SELG, hereafter Seligdar or Holding), a Russian gold and tin producer, became a sponsor of a striking event in the Republic of Buryatia: winter fishing “Northern Baikal 2022”. The event took place on April 2^nd in the northern Baikal that is a part of the water bodies of the unique Slyudyansky lakes in the Northern Baikal region.

The winter fishing “Northern Baikal 2022” is an economically important event for the Republic of Buryatia. Through the sponsorship, Seligdar has an opportunity to contribute to the region’s development and popularity as well as to increase its attractiveness for winter tourism and recreation.

The traditional winter fishing “Northern Baikal 2022” is supported by the Government of the Republic of Buryatia and the People’s Khural of the Republic of Buryatia.

The event agenda included Evenk national rites and rituals, songs, dances, contests, winter sports and beautiful nature of the Northern Baikal region. The participants were awarded in many categories during the event. The first prize was a snowmobile Buran 640A!
