Polymetallic Holding Seligdar (hereinafter referred to as Seligdar), as part of its modernisation programme for production facilities, has begun construction of a new workshop for repairing electrical equipment at its production site in Aldan town.

At present, earthworks and the pouring of the foundation for the future building have been completed. The new two-story complex will cover an area of 980 square meters and will include a power lines section, electrical services area, plumbing services area, electrical laboratory, relay protection and automation section, as well as an area for the repair of ventilation and air conditioning systems. There will also be workplaces for engineers and technicians with comfortable offices, administrative and household facilities.

The construction of a new workshop is expected to significantly reduce the time required for electrical repairs and allow for the manufacture and repair of electrical equipment with improved technical specifications. This includes electric motors of various sizes used within the Seligdar Holding Group, power transformers, switchboard equipment, inspection and testing of protective devices during the operation of electrical systems, ventilation equipment, and other equipment utilized in the energy industry.

The construction phase of the project is scheduled for completion by the end of this year, and Holding Group specialists intend to finish the installation and commissioning of the technological equipment by the end of the first quarter of 2025.
