The documentary film by the Polymetallic Holding Group Seligdar (hereinafter referred to as the "Holding Group" or "Seligdar") entitled "Search at Poisk" has won the MineMovie-2026 competition. The competition is held annually as part of the MINEX mining forum.
This year, 74 entries from 34 companies were submitted. In the "Film about the Profession" category, the winner was the Holding Group's film about the activities of the children's geological camp "Altai Magpies", which annually organises scientific expeditions in the vicinity of the Murzinskoye deposit in the Altai region, where the Poisk production complex is located.
Seligdar has supported the endeavours of young people and their scientific mentors for a number of years. During expeditions, they not only conduct real field research, but also become acquainted with the operations of a gold mining enterprise.
"Search at Poisk" is a film about an exciting immersion into the world of discoveries and adventures, where young people bring their passion for geology to life. It is a simple story about the club's mentors, who have dedicated their lives to educating a new generation of geologists.
Every day at the summer camp is a new discovery for the children: meticulous keeping of geological diaries, painstaking reports on expeditions and research that help them develop analytical thinking and research skills. "Search at Poisk" is an inspiring story about children's curiosity, team spirit and the beauty of scientific exploration, which shows that real treasures can be found not only in the ground, but also in the pursuit of knowledge.
