Seligdar Polymetallic Holding Group (hereafter referred as the Company or the Holding Group) rolled out an automated monitoring system for its bulldozer fleet into full-scale industrial operation.
Previously, Seligdar had tested the solution on contractors’ equipment operating at the Ryabinovy, Podgolechny, Samolazovskiy, Nizhne-Yakokitskiy and Yurskiy production complexes. In total, 41 bulldozers have now been connected to the system.
The solution delivered average efficiency of 7–9%. The Group also achieved a reduction in financial costs by lowering the number of contractor machine-hours billed while maintaining the same scope of work. The strongest performance improvements were recorded at the Nizhne-Yakokitskiy production complex.
As part of the project, each bulldozer was equipped with an automated dispatching system for mining and transport equipment. The system records working and idle intervals in real time, providing data that can be used to optimise fleet utilisation, prevent breakdowns and enhance overall equipment effectiveness.
