Seligdar PJSC (MOEX: SELG, hereafter Seligdar or Holding), a Russian gold and tin producer, announces operating results for 2022 based on management data. Gold production by the Holding’s companies comprised 7.55 tonnes. Production of tin in concentrate amounted to 2.9 thousand tonnes.

Gold division

·         The 2022 run-of-mine material grew by 7% and totalled 28.8 million cubic meters.

·         Ore mining comprised 14.2 million tonnes, 15% lower than in the previous year. The decrease was due to the outpacing mining in 2021 that allowed stocking up ore and reducing mining operations in 2022.

·         Doré gold production improved by 6% for 2022 and amounted to 7,555 kg, a record level for Seligdar. Volume of realised gold produced by the Holding’s companies increased by 8% to 7,587 kg.

Tin division

·         Ore mining reached 671 thousand tonnes for 2022, a 15% growth compared to the previous year.

·         Ore processing grew by 8% year-on-year to 587 thousand tonnes.

·         Production of tin in concentrate remained at the level of the previous year and totalled 2,900 tonnes.

·         Production of tungsten in concentrate grew by 72% compared to 2021 and reached 81 tonnes. The growth was driven by modernisation of technological schemes of operations.

·         Production of copper in concentrate increased 2.5-fold up to 916 tonnes for 2022 due to the involvement in the processing of copper-tin ores and technical upgrade of the Solnechnaya processing plant.
