Seligdar PJSC and the Federal Service for Supervision of Natural Resources (hereafter Rosprirodnadzor) signed an agreement on pilot project implementation.

The aim of the project is to develop the mechanisms necessary for the interaction of Rosprirodnadzor and its subordinate organisations with stakeholders (legal entities and individual entrepreneurs), conducting the necessary examinations, assays and inspections.

The agreement envisages an experiment – consultations of Seligdar by Rosprirodnadzor on the compliance of its operations, planned or carried out during the implementation of investment projects, with the requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation in the field of environmental protection and use of natural resources.

The consultation will take place in writing as follows:

• The Holding files an application with a description of the project and the question of compliance with the requirements of the legislation of the Russian Federation in the field of environmental protection and use of natural resources, which it needs to be advised on;
• Rosprirodnadzor considers the application and sends the reasoned opinion within 20-30 working days. If necessary, Rosprirodnadzor officials may carry out visits to the place of the planned or ongoing operations of the Holding.
