A photo exhibition ‘Seligdar's Yakut Gold’ has opened on the central alley of Tverskoy Boulevard in Moscow. The exhibition was initiated by the Polymetallic Holding Seligdar.
The opening ceremony was attended by: Permanent Representative of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) to the President of the Russian Federation – First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) Andrey Fedotov, First Deputy CEO for Corporate Affairs of Seligdar PJSC Konstantin Sokolov, Chairman of the Board of ProLab Nikolay Kanavin and First Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Russian Peace Foundation Elena Sutormina.
By the end of July, visitors to the exhibition will have the opportunity to learn about all stages of precious metal production on an industrial scale. This will be made possible not only through the display of 64 photographs, but also through a special information resource developed by the Company.Visitors can find out in an interactive format where gold comes from, how it is mined and what the modern mining process is like.
The photo exhibition ‘Seligdar's Yakut Gold’ is dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the gold mining industry of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Last year, the enterprises of the Republic extracted more than 50 tonnes of precious metal. For the first time in its history, Yakutia took the second place in terms of gold production among Russian regions.
