01.06.2023

Maksim Tereschenko, minister of Industry and Geology of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia), visited a production complex of Seligdar PJSC during his business trip dedicated to the development of an industrial cluster in Aldan district.

The Aldan industrial cluster is being created to arrange gas processing in the region, to provide gas supply for settlements of Aldan and Neryungri districts and industrial facilities, and to boost industrial development of the district. The Aldan industrial cluster is included in the Strategy of socio-economic development of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) up to 2032.

Sergey Tatarinov, CEO of Seligdar PJSC, showed the Samolazovskiy production complex, a Holding’s site for innovation projects that contribute to development of the industry and the region as a whole. It was the site where the first-ever preliminary thermal treatment facility for refractory ore that was conferred a National Award of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) was put into pilot operations. The facility allows increasing gold extraction from 20-30% to 90%. For the moment, the fuel for the facility is being carried by vehicles. Connection to the gas pipeline will allow increasing economic efficiency and productivity of the complex.

Sergey Tatarinov, CEO of Seligdar PJSC, commented:

‘We have plans that imply an increase in energy consumption at the operating complexes as well as at the complexes under construction, including at the Khvoynoye deposit. The issue of energy supply has to be resolved. We see the understanding from the Ministry of Industry. We hope that it all will be realised as a number of rational decisions in the near future’.
