Polymetallic Holding Seligdar was awarded a prize at the All-Russia competition of best practices of youth employment organised by the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation in 2023.

The Seligdar’s career project reached the final of the competition and became the third in the category ‘Employment of Minor Citizens aged between 14 and 18’. In total, 93 out of 685 submitted to the expert jury applications reached the final. The competition participants were companies and organisations from 72 federal entities of the Russian Federation engaged in youth employment on the territory of Russia.

The Seligdar’s career project was implemented this summer by HR specialist of Seligdar PJSC in the Seligdar’s headquarters in Aldan town, Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). Teenagers – participants of summer work camps - were acquainted with gold production and different professions under the single concept inspired by ideas of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The teenagers passed tests and were distributed into four ‘Houses’ according the testing results: House of Magic Kitchen (Catering Service), House of Magic Plants (Greenhouse complex), House of Magic Research (Laboratory complex), and Dream Factory (Social Development department). Each ‘House’ had its own emblematic: unique coats of arms and colours.

The All-Russia competition of best practices of youth employment of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Russian Federation was organised in four stages. The applications were submitted between September 1 and October 2. The practices were assessed by the expert jury between October 16 and November 10. The final stage took place between December 6 and 7. The results were announced at the competition closing ceremony on December 8, 2023.
