Polymetallic Holding Group Seligdar (hereinafter referred to as the Holding Group or Seligdar) will increase the mineral reserve base of the deposits of the Nizhne-Yakokitskoye ore field (Nizhne-Yakokitskiy production complex), which is located in the Aldan district of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
In 2024, the Holding Group's specialists developed and submitted for examination a reserve estimation report for the Smezhnoye-1 and Nadezhda deposits. Geological exploration was carried out here from 2016 to 2022. The planned increase is to be about 2.3 million tonnes of ore and 1,940 kg of gold at an average content of 0.84 g/t.
Similar work is being carried out within the Khvoynoye deposit. Currently, Seligdar employees are preparing a reserve estimation report for submission. The planned increase should be 21 million tonnes of ore and 16,000 kg of gold at an average content of 0.76 g/t.
Besides, the Holding Group's specialists completed field work and the development of a reserve estimation report for the flanks of the Trassovoye, Smezhnoye and Nadezhda deposits. The planned increase is about 4.1 million tonnes of ore and 5,400 kg of gold at an average content of 0.77 g/t.
It is worth noting that in 2023, the boundaries of the Nizhne-Yakokitskoye ore field were further expanded by adjacent Spornoye deposit, where Seligdar intends to begin exploration in 2025.
Thus, the total increase in mineral reserves for the deposits that are part of the Nizhne-Yakokitskiy production complex, should amount to 27.4 million tonnes of ore and 23.3 tonnes of gold.
The Nizhne-Yakokitskiy production complex is Seligdar's largest production unit. In 2023, the complex produced 3,142 kg of gold, which accounted for 38% of the Holding Group's total gold production. The current gold reserves amount to 32.8 tonnes. The complex employs more than 850 employees.
