Polymetallic Holding Seligdar, a leading gold and tin producer in Russia, announces that works on the project of the Kyuchus gold ore deposit development proceed on schedule; during 2024, a processing technology will be chosen.

Studies of laboratory samples for technology selection began in 2023. The preliminary results to determine promising directions for further studies have been obtained. By end of 2024 – beginning of 2025, the most efficient technological solution to develop the deposit will be determined. Among technologies under considerations are traditional methods of recovery followed by hydrometallurgical processing of the concentrate, as well as pyrometallurgical processing followed by extraction from cinder. In 2025, Seligdar plans to complete the development of the technical procedure, including the choice of the main technological machinery and equipment as well technical and economic performance indices.

In 2023, exploration works at the Kyuchus deposit were completed ahead of schedule. In 2022-2023, over 110 thousand running meters were drilled. Last year, mineral and engineering studies were also completed, a geological base was created as well as a depositional structural model. Works on the feasibility study have commenced.
