Seligdar received reserves from the unallocated subsoil fund in Buryatia on its balance

20.08.2024

«Seligdar» Polymetallic Holding (hereinafter referred to as the Holding or «Seligdar») (MOEX: SELG) received approval from the Natural Resources Committee of the Republic of Buryatia to transfer reserves from the unallocated subsoil fund of the Nerundinskoye deposit to its balance.

According to the received supplement to the license «UDE 00423 BR», at the subsoil site in the area between the Levaya Mama, Nerunda, and Shaman rivers (Nerundinskoye ore field) Holding registered reserves located below 200 meters of absolute height, which were previously the lower limit of the reserve calculation.

Thus, in addition to the existing balance reserves of gold of the Nerundinskoye deposit in the amount of 2,330 kg, Seligdar received another 1,884 kg from the unallocated subsoil fund.

The Nerundinskoye deposit, which is located in the Severo-Baikalsky district of Buryatia, has been developed by the Sininda production complex since 2007. According to the mining and technical conditions of development, the deposit belongs to the third group with a very complex geological structure with medium and small-sized mineral bodies. The ore bodies are characterized by an intensively disturbed bedding, very variable thickness and uneven distribution of the main valuable components. Industrial reserves are located in the thickness of permafrost. This is the only gold ore deposit where the Holding carries out underground mining in three operating adits.

To develop the lower horizons, a site for another adit has been organized, as well as for the placement of infrastructure facilities located on two terraces. The production facilities of the underground complex are planned to be located on the upper terrace of the site of the new adit, and the infrastructure facilities - on the lower terrace of the site.

In 2023, Seligdar produced 227 kg of gold at Sininda, which is 3% of the Holding’s total production.
