The Khvoyny production complex of the Seligdar Holding is under a large-scale construction. The main elements of the gold processing plant, namely, a wet semi-autogenous grinding mill and overflow ball mill are now in the process of installing. The planned plant capacity is 3 million tonnes of ore.

The wet semi-autogenous grinding mill grinds crushed ore to 152 mm in grain size, further ore is supplied from the first mill to the ball mill where it is pulverized and grounded to 1.8 µm. A cylinder is the key detail for the both mills; it is equipped with special steel profile lining that helps to grind and ground ore. Steel balls of 100 mm in diameter are used for quality grounding in the ball mill.

For the moment, the foundations of the both mills are laid; the cylinder of the wet semi-autogenous grinding mill and that of the overflow ball mill are assembled. Separate parts of the mills are being hoisted and assembled by special truck-mounted cranes with lifting capacity of up to 300 tonnes.

Construction of the Khvoyny production complex is on track. Currently, more than a half of earthwork is done; almost 20% of concrete is laid; 12% of planned metal structures to be used in buildings framing are supplied.
