The project to increase capacity of the gold processing plant at the Ryabinovy production complex of the Seligdar Polymetallic Holding moved to a new phase.

Third conditioning tank for cyanide pre-leaching was commissioned in September 2023 that allowed increasing by 12 hours leaching and sorption time at the plant and maintaining maximum recovery rate of up to 90% of gold.

The current plant’s capacity is 1.6 million tonnes of ore per year; the third tank will allow reaching next year the capacity of 1.7 million tonnes of ore per year.

Next stage of the plant modernisation will be installation of six hydrocyclones that will improve quality of grinding without increasing circulating load at the second stage of grinding amidst growth in processing volume up to 1.7 million tonnes of ore per year.

The gold processing plant at the Ryabinovy production complex operates day-night. At the plant the full technological cycle from ore to gold on the cathode is employed: crushing, grinding, screening, thickening, and leaching with simultaneous adsorption of gold to carbon (Carbon-in-Leach) followed by electrowinning.
