Polymetallic Holding Group Seligdar (MOEX: SELG; hereinafter referred to as the Holding Group or Seligdar) held the first in 2025 session of its Technical Council. The event gathered heads of all key structural divisions and Seligdar senior management.
The primary focus of the event was to review the operational results for the past year and the first quarter of 2025. Additionally, Seligdar outlined its production plans through the end of 2025. Particular attention was given to the progress of construction and installation activities, as well as the upcoming commissioning of the Khvoynoye gold processing plant, scheduled for July, in the Aldan district of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
Preparations for the development of the Kyuchus deposit, located in the Arctic region of Yakutia, are progressing according to schedule. Since the summer of 2024, Seligdar has been conducting research to identify the optimal processing technology for the ore, launching an extensive scientific exploration programme. Based on the outcomes, two promising technological pathways were identified: one based on partially selective flotation, and the other on oxidative roasting. Both methods demonstrate gold recovery rates of 80% or higher. Seligdar not only selected, but also patented the flotation technology in collaboration with the National University of Science and Technology (MISIS). The Holding Group’s technical team is currently finalizing processing protocols for both alternatives.
During the Technical Council meeting, participants also assessed the efficiency of mining operations, reviewed the status of permitting and design documentation, examined laboratory performance, analysed blasting practices, and discussed the timeline for advancing the Holding Group’s mineral reserve and resource base.
The first-quarter 2025 performance of Rusolovo's production facilities received positive feedback from participants, largely attributed to a comprehensive modernisation programme and significant technical upgrades.
