Seligdar Confirms Its Position in the AK&M Social Efficiency Ranking

27.10.2026

The Polymetallic Holding Group Seligdar (hereinafter referred to as "Seligdar" or the "Holding Group"; MOEX: SELG) has retained fourth place in the industry category "Non-Ferrous Metallurgy and Mining" in the ninth Social Efficiency Ranking of the Largest Russian Companies, prepared by the AK&M rating agency.

The Holding Group's social efficiency indicator increased to 79.42 thousand conventional roubles per conventional tonne, compared to 62.36 thousand conventional roubles per conventional tonne a year earlier, with the average social efficiency indicator for the industry at 14.3, reflecting an improvement in the balance between the social effect of the Holding Group's activities and the environmental burden.

The improvement in the social efficiency indicator was driven by a combination of factors: an increase in social investments in the regions of presence, growth in tax contributions and labour costs, expansion of charitable programmes, as well as ongoing work to reduce the environmental burden.

The AK&M Social Efficiency Ranking is calculated as the ratio of the total social effect in value terms (taxes, wages, charity, environmental protection investments) to the total environmental burden in physical terms (emissions of pollutants, greenhouse gases, waste generation, etc.). The indicator demonstrates how much conventional money society receives from a corporation for each tonne of conventional pollution. The final list for 2026 includes 67 largest Russian companies with the best sustainable development practices; due to industry differences, the ranking is divided by sector. Seligdar's retention of fourth place in the "Non-Ferrous Metallurgy and Mining" segment and the growth in the quantitative value of the indicator confirm the Holding Group's consistency in implementing its Sustainable Development Strategy until 2030.

A significant role in the assessment process was played by the improvement in the quality of non-financial reporting: in 2026, the Holding Group conducted a pilot disclosure of data under the Business Social Capital Standard (BSCS), which made it possible to more fully and transparently reflect the Holding Group's contribution to social development and to improve the accuracy of the social effect assessment. The expansion of information disclosure is viewed as a tool for strengthening trust on the part of investors, partners and society.

Seligdar intends to continue increasing its social efficiency, maintaining its focus on responsible business conduct, care for employees and local communities, as well as minimising environmental impact. The confirmation of its position in the AK&M ranking amid growing competition among the largest Russian corporations testifies to the sustainability of the Holding Group's ESG practices and their compliance with the best industry standards.
