Seligdar conducted its Technical Council in Aldan town

On June 19-21, 2023, Seligdar held its Technical Council in Aldan town, Republic of Sakha (Yakutia). The main topic were all-area results for 2023, issues of complex automation of the production and reduction in mining costs, progress of the Kyuchus and Khvoynoye projects.

The meeting gathered heads of all the main departments of Seligdar PJSC and the Holding’s senior management headed by the President Konstantin Beirit and CEO Sergey Tatarinov.

Special attention was paid to issues of digitalisation of production control and development of revised IT-Strategy for 2024-2029 that would consider demands to software from all departments and operations including drilling and mining, beneficiation, design and project management, mine surveying, geology and finances.

An important item on the Technical Council’s agenda was implementation of measures to increase efficiency of operations and reduce mining costs in 2023.

The heads of the Kyuchus and Khvoynoye projects presented the project implementation progress. The both projects are on good track with the  schedule. Drilling at Kyuchus is 3 months ahead of schedule. Active phase of construction started a the Khvoynoye deposit; a general contractor was determined and it started preparatory works to cast concrete foundation of the future gold processing plant with ore capacity of 3 million tonnes per year.

Overall, following the results of the Technical Council work, the senior management noted a good progress rate of the gold division work and efficient execution of the key 1H2023 performance indicators.
