The Annual Report of the Polymetallic Holding Group Seligdar (MOEX: SELG; hereinafter, the “Holding Group” or “Seligdar”) was awarded a laureate diploma in the special category “For Exemplary Disclosure of the Importance of an In-House Research and Development Base for the Company’s Growth” at the XXII Annual Practical Conference “Annual Reports: Leaders’ Experience”, organised by the RAEX Rating Consortium. In addition, the report received a quality certificate for “Very High Quality of the Annual Report.”

The award recognises the Holding Group’s systematic approach to innovation, research and development (R&D), as well as its openness and transparency in presenting this strategic area in its corporate reporting.

Scientific and technological development at Seligdar is coordinated by the Scientific and Technical Council, which held 18 meetings over the past year and reviewed 39 items across key technological areas. Among the most significant projects implemented or launched in 2024 were: testing environmentally friendly alternatives to cyanide (including the “Golden Cicada”) to minimise environmental impact; the introduction of a two-stage gas cleaning system at the Samolazovskiy production complex; the use of unmanned aerial vehicles to monitor irrigation of heap leach pads; and the development of a predictive safety system for transport and specialised equipment. In 2025, a joint patent was registered by a Seligdar Group company and NUST MISIS for an innovative method of selective flotation of stibnite from gold-sulphide ores.

Seligdar’s achievements in innovation have also been recognised by the professional community. In 2024, Seligdar received the top award of the MINEX mining forum in the MINETECH category, with its projects acknowledged as the best among all participants and awarded the highest distinction, “Miner of the Year.”
