Documentary and feature films produced by Seligdar Holding Group (hereafter referred as the Company or the Holding Group) were recognised among the winners of the MineMovie-2025 competition, annually organised by the MINEX Forum.

This year’s festival saw a record number of submissions — over 100 films from dozens of mining companies.

In the “Best Promotional Film” category, first place was awarded to Seligdar’s animated short “The Legend of Seligdar.” The name originates from the Evenki word “Seli,” meaning “mammoth.” The jury commended the film for its original creative approach and deep respect for the authentic traditions and customs of Yakutia, which inspired the beautiful story.

In the “Best Innovation Film” category, third place went to “The Seligdar Phenomenon,” a production by the Mass Media Studio, depicting the challenges and achievements of Seligdar’s gold miners through innovation and bold decision-making. The film features interviews with industry representatives and officials from the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

Another third-place award in the “Mining Chronicles” category was given to a film about the development of Yakutia’s gold mining industry in the Aldan district — from the first discoverers of gold at the Nezametny creek to Seligdar’s modern-day operations. The project, titled “History in Frames,” was produced by the I. Zharayev National Centre for Audiovisual Heritage of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).

All of the winning projects were created in collaboration with Yakutia-based video production studios.
