Additional reserves of other deposits of the Nizhne-Yakokitskoye ore field are also expected to be registered in the State balance of mineral reserves. Currently, a report on the mineral reserve estimate of the Verkhneye deposit is under review, the approval is expected autumn 2023. A feasibility study and a report on the mineral reserve estimate of the Nadezhda, Smezhnoye and Khvoynoye deposits are being developed, state approval of the mineral reserves is expected end 2023 - early 2024. The total increase in mineral reserves of the Nizhne-Yakokitskoye ore field will comprise over 36 tonnes of gold.

Seligdar executes a large-scale programme of exploration of both new and operating deposits. The growth in mineral reserves of the Nizhne-Yakokitskoye ore field is a result of the exploration conducted during 2016-2022. Currently, the exploration is being carried out in flanks of the ore field in order to further increase the mineral reserve base that would allow a significant increase in the life of mine of the deposits.

The Nizhne-Yakokitskoye ore field is the largest Company’s operating asset by gold reserves and includes Nadezhda, Verkhneye, Trassovoye, Smezhnoye and Khvoynoye deposits. The mining operations are conducted through open-pit mining; processing, though heap-leaching method. In 2022, gold production of the Nizhne-Yakokitskoye ore field deposits reached 3,261 kg. Currently, construction of a processing plant with the capacity of 3 million tonnes of ore is underway at the Khvoynoye deposit.
