A pilot project for corporate rental housing from DOM.RF will be launched in the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia) within the individual housing construction segment. An agreement to implement the project was signed at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) 2026 by Vitaly Mutko, Chief Executive Officer of DOM.RF; Aysen Nikolaev, Head of the Region; and Aleksandr Khrushch, President of Seligdar PJSC.
The document provides for the creation of a permanent rental housing stock for employees of the Polymetallic Holding Group on the basis of the Seligdar Village (residential settlement under construction) in Aldan. DOM.RF plans to finance the construction of 40 individual houses and 10 semi‑detached houses, as well as a sports complex and a private kindergarten, with a total area of approximately 12.8 thousand square metres.
Vitaly Mutko, Chief Executive Officer of DOM.RF:
"DOM.RF has been developing the rental housing market since 2016. The company's portfolio currently includes 92 projects in 22 regions with a total area of 1.1 million square metres. We pay special attention to corporate rental housing. This is a new instrument that is gaining popularity among large companies: three such projects for more than 400 families have already been successfully implemented in Yakutia. Rental housing is not only cost‑effective for businesses, but also allows them not to worry about their personnel base, since the housing issue is an important factor for most people when choosing a job."
The project is expected to be implemented in two phases. The first phase (22 individual houses) is scheduled to be occupied later this year, with the second phase (the remaining houses and social facilities) to be completed in 2027.
Aysen Nikolaev, Head of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia):
"Yakutia is currently achieving record results in housing construction, and for us it is important not only to increase the volume of housing commissioning, but also to create modern mechanisms for providing people with comfortable living and working conditions. Rental housing is one such instrument, particularly in demand in the republic's industrial areas. This is a significant project for attracting and retaining qualified personnel, developing the construction industry, and improving the quality of life in the region."
DOM.RF will acquire the properties from the developer and lease them to Seligdar PJSC for five years (with a buy‑back obligation) for sublease to the company’s employees.
Aleksandr Khrushch, President of Seligdar PJSC:
"Cooperation with DOM.RF will not only make it possible to create a cost‑effective property management model, but also to develop an optimal long‑term rental mechanism for new housing. The Seligdar Village project is a non‑standard challenge for us. However, it is precisely such projects that are necessary to retain and attract qualified industry specialists to Yakutia. The future community will include not only residential buildings, but also a number of social facilities that will undoubtedly help improve the quality of life in Aldan."
