Rusolovo PJSC (MOEX: ROLO, hereafter Company or Rusolovo), Government of the Khabarovsk region and Federal State Educational Institution of Higher Professional Education ‘Pacific National University’ entered into an agreement on cooperation in professional education and employment in the Khabarovsk region.

The official ceremony took place at the 8^th Eastern Economic Forum on September 11, 2023. The document was signed by the Governor of the Khabarovsk region Mikhail Degtyarev, President of the Pacific National University Yuriy Marfin and President of Seligdar PJSC Konstantin Beirit.

The main direction of cooperation between the parties is professional education in the Khabarovsk region according the recruitment demand in the region followed by employment in Rusolovo. A separate dimension is an implementation of joint educational, scientific and research programmes and innovative projects designed to develop the Khabarovsk region, University and Rusolovo.

Mikhail Degtyarev, Governor of the Khabarovsk region, said:

‘We deploy different programmes in the Khabarovsk region to attract talents and thus to decrease the workforce deficit. We consider being very important that companies take the lead interacting with universities to implement target programmes of professional education for their enterprises’.

Konstantin Beirit, President of the Seligdar Holding, noted:

‘Rusolovo PJSC is a dynamically developing company. We have large and long-term plants to increase tin mining and processing in the region. Without qualified workforce, it will be impossible to achieve our objectives. The signed agreement with the Khabarovsk region and the Pacific National University will allow forming necessary talent pool’.

Yuriy Marfin, President of Pacific National University, commented:

‘Professional education for the needs of the Khabarovsk region is one of the key vector of the Pacific National University development programme. This education is possible only in cooperation with the employers from the industry. We expect that the signed agreement will result in new educational programme and research projects in the interests of Rusolovo’.
