Gold production of the processing plant at the Ryabinovy complex passed 10-tonne mark.
The gold processing plant at the Ryabinovoye deposit works day-night, its current capacity stands at 1.6 million tonnes of ore per year. The plant performs the complete processing cycle from ore to cathodic gold: crushing, grinding, screening, thickening, leaching using CIL method (CIL – carbon-in-leach) followed by electrowinning.
In 2022, following another modernisation, the plant’s capacity was increased from 1.4 million tonnes to 1.6 million tonnes of ore per year. To reach this capacity, the pumping equipment was changed to more efficient, two leaching tanks for 1,000 cubic meters each were assembled and, thus, time for leaching was additionally increased by 8 hours.
The gold processing plant was commissioned in 2017; its design capacity was 1 million tonnes of ore per year. In 2018, the first tonne of gold was produced. In the following years, modernisation continued to increase the plant’s capacity; in 2020, the plant’s capacity attained 1.4 tonnes of ore per year, in 2022, 1.6 tonnes of ore per year. Today, pilot works to boost the gold processing plant’s capacity to 1.8 tonnes of ore per year are underway. The total project investments are estimated at 1.2 billion Russian roubles.
