Seligdar PJSC (MOEX: SELG; hereinafter referred as Holding Group or Seligdar) continues to build a gold processing plant at the Khvoyny production complex in the Aldan district of the Republic of Sakha (Yakutia).
The builders have installed more than 60% of the total volume of metal structures, completed over 80% of all foundation work and installed 40% of the installation of sandwich panels on the cladding of the main industrial buildings of the complex.
Information about the progress of construction was announced within the framework of the Eastern Economic Forum, which is taking place these days in Vladivostok on the campus of the Far Eastern Federal University.
Sergey Tatarinov, CEO of Seligdar PJSC:
‘The installation of metal structures of the main building has been almost completed (by 90%) at the gold processing plant, as well as work on the installation of sandwich panels has been carried out by 65%. At the site of ore crushing, 95% of the work was carried out on pouring the foundation and installing monolithic retaining walls. 90% of the metal structures of the main frame of the building and 40% of the internal sites have been installed within the filtration facility including the compressor room, the builders have started installing sandwich panels.’
All the necessary industrial equipment has already been delivered to the site, its installation is being carried out. The key elements of the production chain – a wet semi-autogenous grinding mill and an overflow ball mill ball mills with central unloading were installed last year. Besides, earlier the general contractor built worker houses and other facilities of auxiliary infrastructure in the immediate vicinity of the site of the production complex.
Currently, 35 units of construction equipment and about 400 specialists are involved in the construction of the Khvoyny production complex.
The launch of the gold processing plant is scheduled for the end of 2025, and in 2026, the plant is planned to reach production capacity. The planned capacity of the factory is 3 million tonnes of ore. The launch of the Khvoyny production complex will provide the Holding Group with an annual increase in gold production of 2.5 tonnes.
