The polymetallic Holding Group Seligdar (hereinafter, the “Holding Group” or “Seligdar”) carried out a comprehensive programme aimed at improving the efficiency of business processes at the Sininda production complex in the Republic of Buryatia.
In 2025, a range of initiatives was implemented to develop logistics infrastructure and transport support, as well as to enhance social and living conditions at the complex. A major refurbishment of the canteen and the medical unit was completed, and new laboratory facilities as well as a bath and laundry complex were constructed.
Given the challenging logistics — Sininda is located in a remote area of the North Baikal District of Buryatia — regular helicopter flights were introduced between Nizhneangarsk and Sininda. This measure has significantly reduced travel time for rotational (shift) employees from 15 hours to 1.5 hours.
Further upgrades to the vehicle fleet are ongoing. In the near future, the site will receive 15 additional vehicles, including fuel tankers, a crew bus, a forklift truck, a refrigerated vehicle, as well as passenger cars.
Partial organisational changes implemented at the production complex are expected to reduce operating costs, which in turn will make it possible to improve remuneration conditions for employees supporting the facility’s operations.
